Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services

Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services was created through the merger of two leading California child-welfare organizations in November 2005 — Hathaway Children and Family Services and The Sycamores. The agency is now one of the largest children’s mental health and welfare organizations in Los Angeles County, with over 190 years of combined experience.

Hathaway-Sycamores is a leader in responding to the needs of the community and in providing innovative services and programs that build on the strengths of children and families. Their service areas include Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena, Glendale, South Los Angeles, Commerce, Pacoima, Lancaster, and Covina.

This year SHARE is supporting Hathaway-Sycamores, Center for Grief and Loss for Children which provides individual and group counseling in a supportive environment to bereaved families and hurting children after a death or separation from a loved one. The Center also provides grief and loss training for therapists, clinicians, teachers, after-school personnel, clergy, parents and volunteers.
