A DAY AT THE RACES
The fabulous, philanthropic ladies of SHARE and their guests enjoyed a DAY AT THE RACES on Saturday, October 30, 2010. The exciting day of horseracing and fundraising featured the California Cup XXI DAY Stakes at the Turf Club at Hollywood Park Racetrack.
The seven stakes races showcased a festival of California-...bred racing and the 6th race for Maidens was named in SHARE's honor. SHARE members were invited to participate in the Winner's Circle ceremony and photograph.Special guests included popular thoroughbred trainer Tim Yakteen and legendary racetrack bugler Jay Cohen who has played the "Call to the Post" over 85,000 times.
